well an exposure is an exposure...
but a very very low risk but you do need to test...
I test duo test at 4 weeks negative
A negative HIV Duo test result has a reliability of over 99.98% at 28 days and that is why it is considered final and fully conclusive without the need to have any further tests thereafter.
where can I find duo test in US?
They don't use it in my area
No test is conclusive, according to the official guidelines, until 3 months post exposure.
That being said, a negative duo at 4 weeks is reassuring. Repeat with a simple abtibody test at 3 months post exposure.
5 seconds is extremely brief. It would be highly unlikely for you to get infected as a result of that exposure.
hope...duo tests are not readily available in many parts of the US. If you've had a risk, an antibody test at 3 months will be conclusive. If you are looking to test earlier, due to anxiety, know that it is not necessary, but if you insist, you can take a standard antibody test at 6-8 weeks, which will be a very good indication of your final result.
I have 11 weeks duo test negative. Can i move on?
