elisa test

how accurate is a negative elisa test 3 weeks post risky exposure for a woman (unprotected sex) with a hiv positive man? my doctor says its 100% accurate, is this true....

YES-- Dr Sean Cummings--'' I would consider your antibody test 99.9999% reliable at 6 weeks''--that was back in 2009 on the freedom health forum.

Sherry, sorry for the hijacking of your thread. As I said your doctor is was incorrect. A conclusive negative test result can be obtained at 3 months post exposure.

No they do not give a 99% accurate at six weeks on an ELISA.
