Hi everybody.I have 2 important questions for you.
1. Is the HIV duo test the same as HIV combi test?
2.When do the ARS symptoms appear? I am very confused. Some say they appear 2-4 weeks after exposure and others say 3-6 weeks after exposure. My symptom appeared at 5 weeks after exposure( fever) .
So I have to know the truth ...

Combi test after 4 weeks is highly reassuring but not conclusive. However if your exposure was not unprotected anal or vaginal sex, you never required a test

Why can't I get a combi test at 5 weeks?
I heard it is 100 % reliable and conclusive...

Not necessarily. ARS are similar to those, due to other illnesses alsso, therefore symptoms do not mean much but create confusion.

If you had a real exposure (unprotected anal or vaginal sex), the only accurate way to check the status, is to get an AB test done, 3 months after the exposure
