Anyone else Have bifemoralaorticbypass

My husband is 45 yo and scheduled to have an aorticbifemoralbypass performed on both legs and a small aneurysm removed this coming Monday. He suffered MI on 2/13 and had 3 stints placed on 2/14. He is currently on a number of meds including plavix and aspirin. I am wondering if anyone else has undergone this procedure and if Plavix was discontinued or not. My husbands surgeon is not going to discontinue plavix and we are extremely concerned about this. Thank you.
