chest pain on left side near haert
Helo my partners name is kashif khan. HIs age is 21 yaers..He has been experincing pain in the left side of chest near heart for last 2 or 3 yaers. He went for an ECG which was normal but still he has been experincing the a little severe heart pain which lasts for 5 -10 mints followed by breathelessness , sweating. What can be the possible reasons for dis?. this pain is not regular in nature occurs anytym should we again go for another ECG and further tests .. WHAT TESTS WILL YOU RECOMMEND

Angina or pain due to inadequate blood supply to the heart is usually retrosternal (mid chest or slightly to the left) and is usually brought on by exercise and relieved by rest. But there can be atypical varieties also.The pain he experiences does not seem to fall into the category of typical angina. Angina many a times can be missed by a routine ECG. In which case, a treadmill or an exercise ECG may help. Please discuss this with your doctor am sure he will provide further assistance.

Hi, It is essential that he see a cardiologist asap. He could have a heart blockage deep inside the heart and not be detected by EKG. He will need an electro-cardio gram and/an angiogram. They inject a dye that lights up the arteries then follow them on a screen by sona-gram to find inner blockages. It works wonderful. In 2009 my aorta had a 95% block and they found it like this and gave me a life-saving stent. Please do not hesitant to go get this done!! Vitally important, could mean life or death. Good Luck!

Have u seen an cardiologist ? What has he recommend u ? Does he have a rapid heart beat? how is his blood pressure ? I do feel chest pain and sometimes shortness of breath but it's not a strong pain it's more uncomfortable pain....I took the Ecg and my heart beat was 144 . my uncle who is a doctor (not a cardiologist ) says all this is due to stress.
