Hi I found an easy to read article about side effects that were reported to the FDA
It is not the newest but I will keep looking

Hi I am still looking but have seen other sites that state that if this happens you should immediately seek medical attention The doctor should have an emergency number you can call. If not you could take her to the ER.
You can always look at the information that came with her medication but I know that takes so long. Try to look under reactions.
Hi it is early here and Saturday I am sure others will be along soon. I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer but jaundice is not a normal side effect. I will try to search to see and come back.

Please have her drink a lot of water to help flush the medication out of her system. As I had said before I found that this was a severe reaction, it was listed in the site that I had sent you.
I am not a doctor however I would think that she will need to recover from this first before they do anything.
Then perhaps she can be put on one of the newer medications. You had mentioned that her doctor said she had to try this first.
She should now be eligible for the newer meds. There is a lot of financial help out there if she doesn't have insurance. Even if she had insurance there is still financial help.
I am sure others will be a long to help and I will search for it as well. Please let us know how your Mum is doing and what her doctor says, if her doctor is not a hepatologist, please find her one. She will need close supervision during her next tx by a liver specialist. Where do you live? Perhaps we can help you find one in your area.
Take care, thank God you were there for her
My best
De
