I'm not judging you. I really do have brain fog and no one believes me. Everyone at work thinks I should be able to perform as I did pre tx, even though I'm post tx 12 weeks. Glad you stopped drinking......chillax.
thanks for your support NY, yea ive been a wild child partier since i was 12 so... it has been difficult to change but now im old so not so much anymore, hurts too much lol... i am just pretty amazed that my liver damage is not worse... and i count myself lucky that i never got HIV, could very easily have that as well...
I really think if I had not been drinking with liver disease (heck didn't know I had it) I wouldn't have been diagnosed at stage 3. But as a wild child partier I had no idea........and kept it up till the very end.
It's not easy PJ and yes most all of us do something stupid at one time or another. Do the best you can and remember it's the only liver you got!

Why are you drinking when you have liver disease, that's the worst thing you can do.
i have an appt with my guy in June... i am genotype 1, prob had this for 31 years or so, im 49 now... ILB test was TT so im not bothering with standard TX, stage 2 grade 2 last time i checked ... starting to feel bad all the time anymore, tired, aches and pains all over, my urine is kind of dark also unless i drink tons of water...and i am so tired of people thinking im not sick just because im not yellow and bloated ... yet.. ha ha not funny... finally quit drinking completely, i was fooling myself for the last few years thinking i could drink a little here and there and it wouldnt matter... now doesnt matter if i have 1 drink or 10 i feel like im dying the next day... just sick of feeling sick all the time i am done with the alcohol completely.. stay well everyone...
There's some anticipation and buzz that FDA approval could be as early as May 23rd, but nothing is set in stone as yet. There are some questions surrounding availability once approval is official, but as things stand, it does look very possible that it will be available before the end of this year for most.
