post treatment sx

I completed 46 weeks of tx for Hepc !a.  I would like to know if anyone has experienced the following symptoms after tx and how long did last.  I might add that I had a very difficult tx.  I was exactly the opposite of what was expected. My first weeks were good.  Approx 3 months before completion I started to have alot of problems, increased depression, blood transfusions for severe anemia, N & V, you named it I had it.  I started to get brain fog at about the same time I started to go down hill, it has continued.  My neuropathy started in my hands and feet with numbness and tingliness.  I also developed pancreatitis approx 1 month after stopping treatment.  If anyone has experienced any of this symptoms I would like to hear from you.  Thankyou

I'm sorry about your sides/symptoms.  I was fortunately presented with a list of links on post treatment sides when I first joined this forum.   I have not treated and do not intend to until my specialist and I feel it is appropriate and necessary.  Therefore, not yet treating, I can not give information on post treatment from personal knowledge.   However, I'm hoping you continue to post and give us your progress.

Hopefully, someone will post these post treatment side links so you will know what to expect, and understand you're not the only one experiencing them, if not I will look them up for you.

I certainly hope your post tx sx are short, and that you begin to feel better and better with each passing day.  That said, I appreciate your post and others like them.  They are important to newcomers.  Those contemplating tx must know of the sides as they weigh treatment decision.   Many of us have the luxury or waiting.  Not everyone shares this view here (it is generally those that are presently treating, understandably),  and although not on the forum often,  I like to share my view any opportunity available to let those first learning know there are options, as there will be treatments with slightly better safety profile (less sides - hopefully during and after tx), and will make SVR higher and treatment shorter.

Please keep us in formed in hopefully we will hear that you continue to feel better.  Wishing you SVR and the very best for your future.
