I'm worried sick :/ genital herpes?

About 2 weeks ago I have an encounter with a female with a unknown status, she performed oral on me and I was protected,  then we had intercourse protected. Its been 15 days and I have a cold sore on my lip, can this be a symptom of genital herpes or did all this stress cause my cold sore to appear? I wouldn't doubt that I have hsv 1 cause I get cold sores on my lips before ever since I was little.

Looking at the facts of your situation, HSV2 on your lip would be highly implausible seeing as you did not perform oral sex on her. But, when in doubt, to ease your mind, get to the doc.

I did went to get testing for stds and gon and etc , but waiting for the herpes test is making me feel so anxious because I have to wait 12 weeks. Do you think stress could've triggered the hsv 1 causing my lip to have the cold sore ? The intercourse and oral was all protected and I have long pubic hairs idk if that matters or not, what's the possibility that I might contract it?

Yes your correct but he did not have oral sex with her and thats the point. He was asking about his facial issue from the recent act. Dont get me wrong as we do apprectiate eveyone that participates here but just trying to keep the anxiety levels down by replying to the posted concerns.

FYI - HSV2 can be transmitted to the facial area if you have a sore, such as an open pimple or abrasion from shaving. Then, if you have oral sex with a woman who was infected, you could get the genital form of the virus in your facial area.

First of all realize that your genital exposure has nothing to do with any oral issues your having. Could the stress make you have a oral hsv1 outbreak? Possible. You might want to have a herpes test just to confirm your status but once again your genital affair has nothing to do with your oral issue. Herpes does not travel inside your body.
