Is the average or median a better representation of my blood pressure measurements?

I took 10 measurements of my blood pressure on a self testing machine today at my university (I think the range for the arm measurements for the machine is 9 to 13 inches, and my arm circumference is 11½ inches). The measurement results are listed below. Which is a better representation of my blood pressure?

111/77; pulse: 95
113/71; pulse: 90
113/73; pulse: 94
116/80; pulse: 95
106/76; pulse: 95
111/79; pulse: 96
114/65; pulse: 100
90/71; pulse: 88
109/81; pulse: 96
94/68; pulse: 92

AVERAGE: 107.7/74.1; pulse: 94.1
MEDIAN: 111/76; pulse: 95

Taking 10 in a row is generally not advised.  I can't tell which is best, sorry honey.  All the readings are normal.

Just to clarify, these 10 measurements were consecutive. In other words, just after taking and recording each measurement, I took the next measurement and recorded it.

How would you tell which is "best" when the highest indicates borderline diastolic prehypertension and the lowest indicates borderline systolic hypotension?

Well, John, congratulations on having GREAT blood pressure!

My doctor told me to take it no more than 3 times a day, maximum.   And to count the best of the three....
