Yes family doctors can inject immunoglobulin shots. However they may just have IgG and don't know if they have IgM. IT still might help with your immune status. There may be some other new immune boosting medicines. I'm not sure for bacterial. I know they can use interferon for viruses but it won't help for TB or bacterial disease. Interferon is very expensive. I don't feel very smart since I haven't been working due to a back injury and tendonitis, knee injury, just got over a blood clot but it is gone now. etc. But it is good to share knowledge and help people on here. That is why I am here. I hope to have good health too. I appreciate your good wishes, I need them too, LOL.

Does fungal can be detected in culture?
What can be done in asking doctor in case culture is positive as mentioned in my last post, for positive test-what were those tests before to proceed.

Well so far the test is negative for TB. A culture could pick up something more than a smear. But it is not likely since they concentrate it. But final results will tell the results for sure. It sounds good so far.

Yes, for Aspergilloma, they use cortisone or  a steroid. It is necessary. That is good they are doing to do a culture and it all sounds good.

I hope during the guided surgery they can do the culture of the fungus in the chest. Maybe you can ask that question.
