source of anke edema?

one week ago I walked around 8 km to go to a yoga place to do my first yoga.
today (7 days later) i have edema  in my foot ankle.
i had liver inflammation  before also. from my ultrasound I had liver inflammation 1.5 years ago
but after 6 months I did a ct scan of liver and it was liver 1 year ago.

is my  ankle edema due to liver problems or due to  a very long walk and heavy yoga exercising?  if you walk a long distance, can edema in foot ankle start to form after 1 week?
i will be happy for feedback.

at october 2012, i had pain and from my ultrasound they said i ahve liver inflammation. my ast and al enzymes were high. i exercised and lost weight and then 4 monts later I did a CT scan and they told my liver is okay now and my ast and alt enzymes were normal. however, 2 months ago from my blood result i saw that my liver enzymes are elevated again. After my liver was okay, I gained weight again and I ate excess tuna fish for one month for b12 vitamin deficiency.  i do not know why my enzymes were elevated again. maybe due to tuna fish? i do not know.
Then, I decided to lose weight again and hence i did a long walk to a yoga center and then did my yoga. exercises were hard a little bit for me. now i do not know whether the edema (it is like a hard bump) is related to liver problem, whether it is related to long wall (8 km) or whether it is related to a possible sprain during yoga exercise.

Hi it is really hard to guess.  If I were you I would wait to see if the edema comes back after a normal day.

Are you saying you had an ultrasound that showed inflammation but then 6 months later a ct scan showed the liver was fine?

Could you have been on any medication that could have inflamed the liver?

Drinking can inflame the liver.  Even a drink or two the night before a test could affect the liver.

I wish I had more information, I hope you find an answer.
