Please help - headache.

First, I've been suffering with headaches for years.  Been on a lot of different meds and nothing seems to truly work.  If my headache is an actual migraine, then relpax does work for me.  However, I've been having this pressure at the top of my head for weeks now and it has gotten much worse.  When I take relpax for it, it makes it a little better, but not 100%.  The pain sometimes goes behind my eyes and then I can't even do my job..which is computer related.  Now is pain has moved to the back of my head to the right side behind my ear.  I need help. I've had my eyes examined, I have computer glasses, been on preventatives, now I'm on Toprol which is really for help with blood pressure.  I eat regular meals, stay away from too much caffeine and msg.  I went to a Neurologist and he gave me medicine that I was allergic to.  When I told him my symptons, he disregarded it until one day I just showed up at his office and showed him my tongue which the first layer of skin was peeled off.  The medicine had sulfa in it and he knew I was allergic to it.  I've had my share of issues.  I don't know what to do where to turn.  This pressure is moving around my head now and I need to know what it is.  Why it's there and what I can do about it.  Can you help me?

Thank you for your reply.  I actually went to the doctor yesterday and he thought it might also be sinus related since the pain was on to top of my head and then would go down to my forehead and behind my eyes.  He is treating me for a sinus infection with antibotics and a nasal spray.  I do feel a little better today.  I was very upset yesterday with all the pain I was in.  I will try to de-stress and do more exercising.  Thank you again.

Hello Dear,

Your headache is a type of migraine.You should not take stress and do not be anxious.
You  can try some easy remedies at home like;

- Reduce stress
- Practice Aerobic exercises
- Develop a regular sleep pattern

You should avoid diet drinks,tobacco,caffeine,take plenty of water to ensure the blood pressure does not drop due to exercise, high stress activities and hot climate.
Neck exercises and yoga will help you. You can take some NSAID for the pain.You should get your blood pressure levels monitored. Refer http://www.home-remedies-for-you.com/remedy/Dizziness.html
