Got a migraine - its been over a month!

Just an update to all my friends, as you know I took Botox injections in my shoulders and neck over a month ago for migraine relief.

I just wanted to let everyone know that after a week of mild headache, I got a killer migraine last night, to the point that Fiorinal was not working and I had to take Morphine, which worked.

But my Dr. warned me. The last time I saw her she said it was time to have the shots done again, and I was doing so good I put it off, well I shouldnt have, leason learned.

I see her Dec 3, and hopefully she will have time to give me my shots.

Just wanted to let anyone who is interested in this treatment, how my progress is going.

Well the morphine worked while I was taking it, but when I stopped I got a rebound migraine, which I find is worse, so I took a Fiorinal, and that helped, so now I am maintaining it with the Fiorinal, and stretching, I find it gets worse if I sit or stand too long.

My family is giving me a pain in the butt today, so I am trying to remain calm, the last thing I need is that migraine coming back - it was a killer, I couldnt even stand the glare from the computer screen.

Thank you for the update on your treatment and progress!

And definitely a good lesson in there for others about not putting things off. I'll make sure not to miss my next botox treatment!
