Good answer from selmaS. Your headaches may or may not be related to your sinuses. Antibiotics should be your first option if you have a sinus infection which would be shown by a CT scan. And if the antibiotics don't work, you should either be on it longer or try another antibiotic. But if any ENT doctor suggests surgery, I would get second opinions.
I was told that surgery might help my migraines, which later I was told by my pulmonologist, 2 neurologists and another ENT doctor that migraines as bad as mine couldn't possibly be caused by my sinus infection.
And my husband was told to get surgery to help his bad sinus problem. He was told it would put him out of work for a month. I told him, "remember what happened to me?" He got a second opinion from a better medical facility (a research, medical school, university) and was given a prescription nasal medicine which cleared up his sinuses completely.
Hi...sorry u r having so many issues....have they done a MRI? Just wondering if it is the sinus or something else going on....
Have they put u on antibiotics for an infection of the sinus?
