Headaches and Dissiness with Weakness.

My girlfriend is an 18yr old and she has been having massive headaches; migraines. She went to the doctor and they said her vertigo was off. My girlfriend has blurry vision when she gets them and the pain from her headaches go down to her neck and back. Everything ends up hurting her. Her doctor said there is something "suspicious" on the left side of the brain, behind her left eye. Is it a tumor? And what can be done for it? I'm worried...

Hi,
How is your girlfriend? Diagnosis of headaches caused by tumor can be done with imaging studies such as CT scan or MRI. Tumor headaches present with pain that progressively worsens, projectile vomiting, possible visual disturbances speech or personality changes; problems with equilibrium, gait, or coordination; and even seizures. To rule this out, it is best that further evaluation be done including the imaging study and blood tests. Take care and do keep us posted.
