Hi,
In Biofeedback therapy involuntary body functions can be brought under voluntary control by applying sensors to various parts of the body. The electrodes can be attached to your fingers, hands, feet, scalp and skin. These sensors are connected to monitoring equipment which provides feedback on the functions that require control.
Depending on the feedbacks the therapist will teach you physical and mental exercises that may solve the problem.
It helps in controlling physiological functions that have gone out of control. People with heart diseases and pacemakers should avoid biofeedback therapy.
Hope this helps!
Thank you for your response. Can you tell me more about biofeedback therapy. I have several triggers for migraines, however, most of them are hard to avoid. (lack of sleep, stress, hormone changes) Any more info on the treatment you mentioned would be appreciated.

I have had severe migraines since 1994. They have almost always been out of control. I have been on almost every kind of med. also. It gets so frustrating. One thing my neurologist gives me that helps once in a while is a lidocaine nasal spray. I don't know if it would work in your situation, but I hope so.
Hi,
How are you?
I would suggest you to try magnesium supplements. Magnesium is shown to be very effective in preventing migraine attacks.
The other option is biofeedback therapy. Also have you been able to identify a trigger for your attacks?
The best treatment for migraine is identification and avoidance of trigger.
Hope this helps!
