Migraines

For the last couple of years I've woken up with migraines and vomiting for unknown reasons and it seems to be getting worse I can remember  waking up as a child with a headache and a feeling of nausea but no vomiting.
Does any one no why that is

Thanks for filling me in.  I hope that you can get the sleep study soon.  If you do want it sooner, the squeaky wheel gets the grease.  So don't be bashful about calling to see if there are any cancellations.  A lot of people cancel their sleep studies from what I heard when I had mine.  If your sleep study comes out ok, then the doctor will have to delve further into the cause of your problems.  Good luck.

Hi went to the doctors and he said my breathing is restricted but he thinks that's because I'm over weight but is sending me for a sleep apnea test which he said will take a while to get an appointment I think it is myself copd that is a problem with your breathing and a cough and you can wake up with headaches as your getting too much carbon dioxide in the blood but we will see how the sleep test goes

You are being tested about your cough which is good.  It could be that you have asthma which can cause the coughing.  I went through that until I was diagnosed with asthma and was treated for it. Now the doctor doesn't think that I'll ever need any medication for it.  But they will find out what is the matter with you.

Also you really need to get some help about your migraines as severe as they are.  If you're only getting them every 2 weeks or even more often than that, then you should ask for something to treat them.  Taking a pain pill as soon as the migraine just starts to get bad can really help you.  But if you wait until the migraine gets bad, then it's very hard to treat. Also you should ask for something for your nausea.  There are pills that dissolve in your mouth that don't need any water which could make you vomit.

I would like to know what you find out. Wish you well.  Sara

It means that your migraines are getting worse. How often are you getting the bad migraines?  If it's often at all, then you should see a doctor about it.  Let me know the frequency, then I can advise you better about which course to take.
