Over 20 years of neck pain gone

Can you tell me my Verapamil would cause my neck pain to end? I don't have high blood pressure, but my Neurologist prescribed it for my migraines. I am taking a super low dose of Topamax twice a day, but as soon as I added this, the neck pain suddenly ended. That's awesome, but I don't understand why. Could you explain?
Thanks!

That article that you referenced only talked about how neck pain is more common with migraines than nausea.   No where does it reference Verpamil or discuss why the medication could stop neck pain.

The following article : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Verapamil   references that Verpamil also has been used to treat headache clusters, but still gives no information about how or why it would stop neck pain altogether.  It does talk about how the Verapamil dilates the blood vessels.  I have chronic neck pain as well as chronic migraines which the neurologists think that my neck pain is causing my migraines.  That's why the nerve block injections and Botox injections in my neck is thought to help my migraines.

Unfortunately I couldn't tolerate the medication, also called Calan, but I'm really glad that you Smarty99 had such an incredible experience.
