Is double vision sign of a migraine

Hi group,
I have a migraine variant (EEG is abnormal and I used to get only vomiting no headache). In my 30's my migraine headaches started with no aura. I take Imitrex, Ibupropin and Tylenol for them. Now I'm in my late 40's and I get a lot of aura's with no migraine. I was getting one a day and now it is about once a week. But I still get migraine headaches with or without aura (mostly without). This last year I got double vision and went to a optometrist who said since it is one time and his exam was normal not to worry. It has been a year since then and I got another bout of double vision, with some pressure and then a headache (not bad) so far. I will go to an opthamologist to check but I was wondering if anyone here gets double vision before a migraine?  I have heard it can happen. I have had some vertigo a couple of times and sometimes a short bout of dizzyness once in a while. My blood chemistries, complete blood count and blood sugar are normal. My blood perssure is normal. I was under a lot of stress and didn't sleep well last weekend too. I do have chronic back pain due to myofasical pain syndrome. I have seen a neurologist for the back pain and she agreed it was myofascial pain and my lower back MRI is normal and the neurological exam was normal ( other than my migraines). I am on no new meds. I appreciate your comments.

A Acephalgic migraine or an ocular migraine might cause these symptoms.
Typically a migraine without the serious headache... Aura, sensitivity to light and the such, This kinda migraine can also cause visual anomalies.
After the eye symptoms subside a bit of a headache may crop up or just the eye that was affected may hurt...

Ask your doctor about it, it might fit your bill.

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I went to the neurologist and she said the double vision and  the yellow spot that flies across my vision plus my other symtoms is typical for a retinal or ocular migraine. I still have to see the opthamologist to rule out retinal problems but I had migraine with it so I think you are right.
thanks so much for being there!

Thank you so much!  I did get a slight headache on one side (light usual) then after a while the headache got worse and was about the same level as my usual migraines. I do also get a yellow pinpoint of light that shoots off. It doesn't happen every day and not all the time on the day it happens. I saw an optometrist he said floater but it doesn't act like a normal floater. I get lots of auras without migriane lately too so I'll look into your suggestions. I see the neurologist in a couple of weeks and the eye doctor (unless she says for sure it is the migraine) in about 2 months.
I appreciate your help.
