Hi,
How are you? It usually takes a few weeks for the infection to clear out. It is important that you go for follow-up with your doctor and avoid the conditions that trigger your headache. If one of our medicine does not work, inform your doctor about this for proper management. A shift to a stronger medicine or another type may be indicated. Take care and do keep us posted.
have you told your docs about your symptoms? I'm no expert on viral meningitis, but I'd say that any change in your body this marked after being discharged from the hospital should be reported to your GP if no one else.
My aunt was admitted months at a time, quite a few times, for viral meningitis. And ultimatly they found out it was stress causing hers. With her stress, It was where she lived, and who was stessing her out. Once she moved, she hasn't had a reoccurance. My sister in law who was admitted last year for the same thing, also was told hers was caused by stress. Did they mention if there was a cause for yours?
