Sharp Pains

I'm 25 years old and I have been having somewhat sharp pains and occasionally some ticks. The pain usually occurs around my temples and in the front of my head above my right eyebrow. The pain doesn't usually last too long. Lately, I have been getting small ticks coming from my right temple as well. I also get dull pain in the back of my head sometimes, leading to my neck. What in the world could be going on?

Hi,
Thanks for the additional information. Feeling tired is often associated with stress or fatigue. And the headaches may be attributed to tension headaches. As mentioned above, rest, pain medications and avoidance of stress may help. Additional tests may also be done to rule out other medical conditions such as anemia, diabetes or neurological causes. Take care and always.

Hi,
How are you? Are there other symptoms present? Frontal headaches may be caused by primary headaches such as migraine or tension headaches and also eye issues like error of refraction. A referral to an opthalmologist may help rule this out. A headache journal may also identify possible triggers responsible. Rest, ice pack and prescription medications may help provide relief. Take care and do keep us posted.
