Recurring Headaches

Hello. I am a 17 year old female with allergies, and I am and have had recurring headaches for at leats 6 months (probably longer). I do not thin these headaches are symptoms of PMS, for they occur throughout the month. As a matter of fact, I have one know, and my period ended over a week ago. Sometimes it feels like the inside of my head is throbbing, and sometimes the pain is on one side of my head-it was just on the right side, but now I feel like its swithced to the left center of my head. I also get dizzy sometimes- I asaked my parents, and they think its becuase I get up to fast, whic causes "swimming in the head" (they can be old fashioned). Anyway, this dizziness occurs throughout the month as well, and when it happens, it lasts for no longer than a minute. During this minute, I try to sit down if I'm standing because I feel warm and tired. One time, I had a dizzy spell and I collapsed. I thought that maybe I had tripped over something, but I could not recall doing so, and I hadn't even realized I'd collapsed until maybe a minute or so after it happened. That happened once, but I am still concerned. I am also having memory problems; I can't remeber being as forgetful as I am now ever in my life, and I think its my short term memory. Someone can tell me something, and 5-10 minuyes later, I have forgotten it. I spent days searching for my glasses, whic I discovered I hap put inside my dresser, and its hard for me to project my thoughts in a concise way sometimes. Can you please repond to this email as soon as possible!

Memory problems slightly.

You have to be seen by your doctor. Such a 'fainting' and many times 'dizziness' can happen in those with heart problems, seizures or anxiety. Some elderly people need just cough to faint, and some do so while urinating. Your doctor may do the basic tests, and refer to a neuro. If the neuro draws a blank, all except allergy can fit into anxiety.

But it is wise to visit the doctor.

You should definitely see a neurologist to see if you have seizures.
