Food containing natural substance or food additives, sometimes a combination of both can contribute to the onset of migraines, tyramine is a natural substance found in protein-based foods so take care what food you intake.Thanks.
Hi,
How are you? There are several factors that may trigger or aggravate migraine attacks such as stress, hormones, certain medications and certain kinds of food. There are plenty of food triggers and may include: caffeine, peanuts and other nuts, dairy products, dried meats, pickled herrings, canned soups and packet soup mixes, soya products, sodium nitrate, which is used to preserve hot dogs, bacon and cured meats, MSG or monosodium glutamate, red wines, beer, champagne, and even chocolate. However, these may vary from one person to another and there are not enough scientific studies that prove each link to migraine. I hope this helps. Take care and best regards.
