You may discuss this with your physician so you may be assessed along this line.
my last mri was in july of 05 with contrast. i believe that my ct scan was around that same time. i dont think that i've had my thyroid or vitamin b6 or b12 levels checked. i've had a lot of blood work and stuff done but i dont think that they were part of it. what kind of problem could those cause?
Hi,
When was the last time you had your CT scans and MRI's done?
I would suggest that you have a CT scan or MRI done again just to rule out any underlying nerve impingement that may directly cause the symptoms. Your history of spina bifida and scoliosis may contribute in part here but then a new onset spine problem may be present.
Also thyroid hormone levels and Vitamin B6 and B12 levels may also be determined since decrease in these levels may cause a similar presentation.
Have you been assessed along this line? You may discuss this with your physician. Your symptoms may not all be explained by one single disease entity however, some of these symptoms appear to be nerve related.
i always have joint pain. i havent had any recent infections or sickness. this is all stuff that's been going on for years. I have several allergies. im allergic to demerol and methadone. but im also allergic to things like grass and pollen and things of that nature. no sinus infections. in 1993 i was in a small car crash and had mild whiplash. the only trauma that i've ever had was when a 40lb box of frozen french fries fell on the back of my neck. which happened in 1995 but the drs i've seen said that it has nothing to do with it. but im not so sure since all the drs that i've seen don't really even look at me or listen to any of my symtoms. they just prescribe pills that dont work.
Hi.
Based on what you have posted your symptoms appear to be nonspecific. That is at this point several conditions may present with these symptoms. Infections, musculoskletal , neurologic and hormonal disorders may present as such.
I just have a few questions:
Have you had any history of a recent infection like fever, eye tearing , nasal discharge or joint pains?
Do you have any known allergies?
Have you had any repeated bouts of sinus infections?
Any history of injury or trauma before?
