How to cope with this pain.

I went to the ER  about 2 months ago. I thought I had kidney stones or a bad Apendix. I was having excruciating lower right abdomen pain. I found out I had an ovarian cyst. It was/is 4.4cm. Said it would go away on its on and to follow up with my Obygn. They gave me a prescription for some Percs which I never took. I couldn't afford them at the time bc I currently don't have health insurance. I've been popping Ib Profen like crazy and using heating pads. That helps. But the pain is the worse I've felt so far. I'm exhausted,  and in a crappy mood most of the time too. I'm not sure if the Cyst has anything to do without. I am currently looking for health ins and an OBGYN in the Georgia area that would help me. They seem to come back or cause the most pain around my Period time. During and after. I'm afraid I may need surgery. The ER DOC also suggested getting on the BC pill said it helps with the pain. Has that helped for anyone? Als if you know of any clinics or OBGYN THAT take uninsured patients in Georgia, please let me know please thanks. s

The pill might put the ovary to sleep, in essence, and the cyst can get smaller.  It can take a couple of months.  Heating pads are helpful, or a hot water bottle, or a hot bath.
