Had my oncologist appt yesterday...

I was so scared!

When he first walked in to talk to me and I told him that it burst, he said that was impossible. He said it could have gogten smaller but a cyst that big just doesn't burst. So I was freaked out yet again that surgery would be in my near future.

But when he examined me, he was really amazed to see that my ovaries felt normal. he didn't have an ultrasound in his office so all he could do was a manual pelvic exam but from what he could tell, it didn't seem to be in there and if it is, it's a small normal-sized cyst now.

He's sending me back for an ultrasound in 2 weeks and then I'll meet up with him again in January to go over those results. But he said if it's become a small cyst and I'm not in any pain, he won't even order laproscopy or anything...unless it grows ridiculously big again.

It looks like I might be in the clear....fingers crossed!
