anyone been where I am at?

I am 36 yrs.old  I started having right side pain in my lower abdomen back in Feb. 09.  I was doubled over for a week or two.  Had IUD taken out to see if that was the problem.  Went on birth control pills.  Have had two pelvic ultrasounds...found ovarain cysts...(normal).  Have had colonoscopy (fine)...took Amatriptallin to see if it was nerve stimulus...didn't work.  Have been on antibiotics.  My right side of my abdomen is tender to the touch.  Cramps come and go.  Have lower right sided back pain also on and off, but tenderness to the touch is there about 90% of the time.  Now doctor wants to have be take an IVP test to check for kidney stones before a laproscopy is done.  I am frustrated!  I have pain and yet it can't be found.

Yes, more info on the cysts is helpful.  Some doctors refuse to take them seriously.  Your pain could also be related to your gallbladder and you should get that checked out.

What exactly did they tell you about the ovarian cysts?  Size? Quantity? Type?  They could cause a lot of pain if they rupture and that pain lingers and causes tenderness.  There's no treatment for it other than pain killers and watching for possible infection.  Maybe you had one or more cysts that formed and ruptured.  I don't know enough about kidney stones to comment on that possibility.
