Lizanne31, we aren't doctors here and unfortunately I don't know what fibrosis is - I suggest you do a google and talk with your doctor.  I would doubt very much if it has anything to do with cancer.  Do keep on top of your doctor about the situation.  Good luck.

Les1962, please don't ask another question on someone else's posting.  It gives others the assumption that the original question has been answered and both posts may end up not being addressed.  I also had large cyst(s) - 16 cm.  Because of the size your Mom will need surgery to remove it.  I had mine last June and because of the size they could not do it laparoscopically and had to make an incision.  I am amazed at how much better I feel and how it actually cured issues I did not know would have been related to the cyst.  Over 95% of all cysts are benign but it is important that she have this addressed to be sure and she should ask a gyn/onc to do the surgery, not that it is cancer but because they are the best at this surgery.  There is lots of info on the health pages (top right) that you may find helpful.
