Syphilis?

Hi..4 weeks ago I had protected vaginal sex only with a CSW in Thailand..around 4 days ago I noticed a single spot about 2mm diameter on my penis head..it's not sore and hasn't changed shape or size...so been to clinic today for a syphilis blood test which came back negative...so my question are
1) if the spot is a syphilis spot would my blood test have been positive?
2) how long would it take for the spot to become an open sore/chancre?
Thanks

Syphilis can take until 3 months to show a positive result in a test. But at least, it is good to test 6 weeks after the exposure.

If you have had an unprotected vaginal penetration, it's better if you go for a full std test.

All the best.

It was protected all the way...I am just concerned about the spot and wether it is a syphillis chancre in the making
The chancre (if it's truly syphilis) will disappear in a few days, but not because the infection is finished, but the second part of the illness is starting. As I said, the only way to know if it's syphilis or not is testing after passing the window period.
