Keloids on Vagina

Im 16, Ive never had sex or even my first kiss and I went to the doctor because i have Keloids on my vagina. I shaved when I was very young because i thought hairs were weird. The doctor said that they were Keloids but why do they keep coming? I dont shave but i do trim. Will they forever keep popping up? I know about the injections they give, but is there an another way for my Keloids to at lease decrease in size and decrease the rate of formation?
Thank you

Most keloids will decrease in size over time. They are scar tissue that has grown and enlarged to a greater degree than they should; eventually they will probably disappear.
