May I wait to go to doctor until after Christmas?

I began urinating blood 24 hours ago. I am experiencing frequent urination, cloudy urine, and there is a significant amount of blood everytime I urinate. I also sting when I urinate, and it is to the point where I am almost crying. I have done much research to realize what most likely is going on. My main concern is that I wait until after Christmas to go to the doctor. I am taking AZO pills and drinking lots of water and unsweetened cranberry juice. I am 16 year old female. My mother knows about what is going on, but I want her to spend the little bit of money we have on Christmas presents for my younger brother and sister. I told her I would go to the doctor after Christmas, but not before. She is refusing to wait. She wants to see your response to see if we can wait possibly.

Go to the doctor right away. I know you want your siblings to get more christmas presents and what not but they will understand one day at least that you were sick and needed to see a doctor. Blood in urine is a bad sign that the infection in your urinaty tract has gotten really bad. That is what you have more likely since you have explained that it hurts when you pee and that you pee frequently. Good luck hope all goes well

hiya, me and my mum each get this a few times a year, sometimes bleeding with it, you should go to your doctor straight away, if you live in the uk, you will get your treatment free...and if you live in another country it won't be a lot of money for antibiotics which you will probably be prescribed with as it sounds like a water/bladder infection, don't put yourself through all the pain because it may get worse, my mum had it for as long as a month once, you need to get rid of the infection as soon as possible. also, i was told it could have been a kidney infection, and that's worse, so don't leave it, get it sorted. you wouldn't like your brothers or sisters to go through pain so that you could get something materialistic, you know?
