gynaecology...

hey ...cn sm1 help me out..my periods r continuing now..n its the 6th day..bt nfortunately..i slipped into sex wid my partner..but he had used condom. Now m feeling pain in my vagina(not severe bt slight pain)...is it dangerous???
And yes slight bleeding is still der wich normally occurs in my 6th day of periods

I jst wanted to confirm one thing...as per my previous medical track record due to stress factors that usually triggers hormonal imbalance my periods never gets regular.Sometimes I have ayurvedic medicine (Ashokarishta) to enance the normal ongoing of cycle. But now I have stopped it.Meanwhile I had sex with my partner and I think he had ejaculated inside me this time. Now I am afraid that I pill isnt any more the soution as it is not procured any more(quite not sure). I had periods in last week of July.Please help me out....what shall I take now to avoid any undesirable consequences.I am in dire need of your help...pls reply ...

Hi!
Normally 6th day of the cycle is quite safe for sex. Also, since you used condom, you should not be unduly worried. However, during menstrual cycle, the vagina is a little susceptible to injury and infection. Both can cause pain. Usually this heals on its own. If the pain persists beyond 2-3 days, please consult a doctor. Refrain from intercourse until pain susbsides. Take care!
