Will someone speculate why I have sudden pressure in my left temple?

There's no throbbing at all. Nothing except my pulse of course. It came on so suddenly and with a moderate headache. While the headache went away (mostly) it's been a week on antibiotics and the pressure remains. And now the pain is coming back stronger. I have no symptoms of sinus related illnesses. But my temple is tender and feels very full and tight. Any ideas?

Also I'd like to add that I went to the emergency room last week and all the blood tests they ran came out negative and the CT scan showed nothing abnormal.
