Hi,
Thanks for the update. It is good that the urine culture was normal. Treatment for Chronic nonbacterial prostatitis aims to control symptoms because it may be difficult to cure this condition.Long-term antibiotics and alpha adrenergic blockers may be prescribed. Many patients respond to treatment while some do not get relief. You can still lead a normal sex life with your wife. It is important that you have regular follow-up with your urologist for proper management. If not treated, this may lead to sexual and urinary problems. please reply me as soon as possible. Many thanks in advance.
Hi,
How are you? It is good to hear that evaluation by specialists and all initial diagnostic test results were normal. This rules out pathological issues or sexually transmitted diseases and leaves us physiologic causes- residual semen. There is nothing to be worried about at this point. However, you need to monitor this also and have regular follow-up. Imaging studies may also be indicated. With regards to your varicocele, this is usually harmless and often does not need to be treated. Take care and do keep us posted.
