Foreskin rashes and retraction problems

This issue started few weeks back. but has become unbeareable since last week. The foreskin has developed number of thin red line rashes. and its become painful for retraction of the foreskin of penis.
I googled and found its due to yeats/fungal infection.
Got time for myself and visit a urologist today - he recommended a circumcision. prescribed two tablets - fluconazole and cefuroxime axetil.

Please suggest if circumcision is the only way out? cant this be cured? I hate hospitals and the hospitalizations.

Atleast the swelling is gone. Skins looks very thin. most of the rashes are gone. Couple of them remain.
I have stopped taking pills from last couple of days.

Observation is that the foreskin seems to be tough to retract, it does not retract as much it used to two months back. Any further suggestions?

If you need an antibiotic, take the cefuroxime before the fluconazole, the antifungal.  Try showering with neem soap or tea tree oil soap.  Wash underwear and socks in hot water with measured Tide and baking soda to kill yeast.

The cefuoxime is an antibiotic.  Although it's the generic of Ceftin and is my preferred antibiotic because it helps my tummy instead of making me worse off, I would avoid using it if you don't have a bacterial infection, but if you need it, then taking it first is the way to go because it will tend to increase the yeast problem.  Once you finish the antibiotic, then you can start taking a probiotic.

I worked for a urologist for 7 years.  Circumcision is rough on an adult, so I would hit it hard and try to wipe it out with every possible means.  But often circumcision is necessary.
