Hi,
How are you? I you feel that the sutures have come out, it could be that your doctor has put soluble sutures or it could be as you mentioned. In case the sutures have got off chances of infection, pain are common. Also, due to the large size of the urethral meatus the flow and direction of urine stream changes.
I would suggest that you visit your doctor for further confirmation and assistance on treatment.

Hi,
How are you? Meatal stenosis can be treated with serial dilatations or meatotomy. Meatotomy is the definitive treatment for meatal stenosis.

Before the procedure local anesthetic is applied at the site of surgery. Mild dysuria may be present for 1-2 days after meatotomy. If dysuria results in urinary retention, placing the child in a tub of warm water may stimulate micturition. Antibiotic topical applications should be continued for about 2 weeks.

Hope this information helps.
