Adverse reaction?

About fifteen days ago I took Versomni 6 mg / Tamsulosina 0.4 mg to reduce frequency of urination per urologist's advice.  Two and a half hours after taking one pill I had a bowel movement (soft but not diarrhea) followed by abdominal cramps (about 4-5 in pain out of a scale of 10) that lasted all night.  I discontinued taking the medication.  The following day pain subsided but I felt weak and generally unwell.  The next two days I experienced persistent headaches.  I improved somewhat but still felt a loss of energy.  The last two days I have had diarrhea and mild abdominal pain after eating.  Occasional mild headaches.  When this started I stopped taking medication to reduce cholesterol.  Blood tests two weeks after the onset of these conditions show increased cholesterol and triglycerides.  Also lymphocytes dropped from 25% to 15.4%  Can this be a adverse reaction to the urology medication -- persisting after fifteen days?  If not, WHAT is it?  And just how long will this take to clear up.  Having gone back to urologist and gastrologist without any conclusions I don't know where to turn now.  This has been going on too long and worries me.  Thank you.
