Prostititis Enterococcus
I have been diagnosed with Prostitiis with the culture coming back showing Enterococcus. My doctor told me it was very serious and said the best treatment for this germ is Amoxicillin. I am taking 2000mg Amoxicillin a day for 30 days. Eight months ago I was diagnosed with the same disease with the exception it was an E-Coli germ My doctor seemed very upset that this type of disease returned after only 8 months. What do you think is the cause of this reoccurence. I have an enlarged prostate. Should I seek additional advice from an infectious disease doctor? What is your feelings about having the prostate shaved?
