coagulase-negative staphylococci

Hi,
I have been dignosed with coagulase-negative staphylococci. I probably caught it in Thailand. However, there is not much information regarding it. Can you provide any insights into this.

The doctor orignally thought it was Ghonnera...but alas..not an STD.

I have Taken 3 weeks of Doxycyline
2mg of Anzmythrocin (No effect)
2mg of Flagly (no effect)
5 days of Cipro (kept it at bay)
1 shot of Roceiphine (A big help but did not take care of it) 4 days ago.

I have testicular swelling, enlarged prostate, buring in the tip of the penis
I have had trouble urinating for the last two days.
Minor discharge around the size of a pea.

However, last night a huge discharge. 2

Today, the uroligist gave me Cravit 500mg x 3 days.

I have been looking into your feedback. From what I understand..
1) Prostate Massage has no benifit in helping treat infections. It's been outdated since 2000. (see wikipedia)
2) Docycyline is ineffective against staph - so sixty days is not required.
3) My doctor provided a list of meds that are effective against staph. of the 8-10 on the list, non of the drugs I had taken were included. They could mask the symptoms but not cure the disease.

3 days of Cravit (Levofloxicin) and a huge improvement. Still have some testicular discomfort but no burning, no problem urninating.

I'd still like to know some useful information about this disease. Anyone?

You lucky S O B. .. Good luck on your side... yea, Steph is not a STD...> but my friend you are in a long journey to recovery... IF you recover.

It is very hard... lol 3 weeks for Doxy? ???

Not enough, get on that for next 2 months, 60 days mini.

Every time you take a medicine, make sure your prostate is massage ever 45 minutes after meds.

Every other week go to your urologist and get a prostate massage

This will help drain the fluids, and itw orks... I cured my prostate infection in 6 months...

It sucks to have

And, I thinking I may have gotten my prostate back from Protected Oral Sex I got from SW.

So your lucky and safe...
