Hello TeeJay2008,

It seems that you are suffering from some infection like urinary tract infection or prostatitis. I suggest that you contine the therapy as advised by your doctor for another one week before venturing out for anything else.
Be patient as the treatment is right. Your symptoms would surely improve.

Hi,
Thanks for writing in. Burning sensation and white discharge is common in young boys, because sometimes the semen can also give rise to such symptoms. But in adults the causes can be infections, sexually transmitted diseases like Chlamydia, gonorrhoea, herpes, syphilis etc.

What is your age? And since how many days are you experiencing these problems? Have you noticed any sore or for skin tightening or scarring on your genital organ? It is advised to get a routine blood, urine test done. As you already got them done, see what the reports say and consult your urologist if symptoms persist.

If it is a routine infection of the urinary tract, symptoms will subside after one course of treatment.

Take care.
