Hi, thank you for the advice! Have you looked into Candida Diet? I wonder if this is a real condition about Candida overgrowth, but I will try it and see!
BTW, my CT scan came out negative. No kidney stones or anything.
I had to same thing for years before I was diag with Interstitial Cysitis (IC) I had small amounts of blood in my urine for a long time which was just dismissed. I had alot of pelvic pain which lead me to many gynocologist and exploratory surgeries etc. Finally after one surgery my bladder did not wake up which lead them to investigate and I was diag pretty quickly with IC.
Hello,
To investigate microscopic hematuria, you can get an ultrasound and a CT scan or cystoscopy done. You should go ahead with the investigations that your urologist has proposed.
Hope it helps. Take care and regards.
Thank you so much. Is a CT scan the best way to determine the exact causes? A Dr suggested Cystoscopy & CT scan, and I am not sure if the radiation exposure is necessary.
What you are having is microscopic hematuria. Microscopic hematuria can be due to urinary tract (bladder) infection, swelling in the filtering system of the kidneys ,stone in bladder or in a kidney, blood disease, like sickle cell anemia, certain medicines and tumors in the urinary tract.
I suggest you to get an evaluation done from a urologist to get it evaluated.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
