puss in urethra

Hello,
I'm 16 years old and sometimes I have pain urinating and/or only a few drops come out and sometimes I find white/yellow puss in my urethra. I'm not sure what I should do because I'm only 16- maybe I should see if it passes? Please help me if you can. Thanks.

since yesterday there's a whititsh fluid coming out of my urethra and it's nothing like sperm or precum. i guess it's pus. other than that there's no pain or stinging or anything and i can pee normally.

Hi
Thanks for the post!

I understand you are young and only 16 years old but a urinary tract infection cannot be ignored at any age. You would need to get your urine examined for infection. Sometimes this urine is also cultured to see what organism is causing it and a sensitivity test done to know which antibiotics will work. Left untreated urinary tract infection can harm your kidney, bladder, ureter or urethra. White pus like thing from your urethra could also be smegma, which is normal.
However, I think you should discuss this with your doctor. It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
