Bad Pee Smell

Ok so.. I've tried googling this question many times and have found many articles, but they never answer my question.
My question is.. why does my pee smell so bad?

About 2 months ago I started noticing my pee had a really strong odor. In a away, it smells like I just opened a can of tuna mixed with dirty vagina.Every time I got to a friends house I get so embarrassed. I always just say I am so dehydrated and need to drink more trying to play it off.On top of the that it is really yellow. When I look down at my pee, it doesn't seem to mix with the water very well(strange I know). I kind of just clusters in the middle, like how oil and vinegar don't mix... That's my best analogy.

I drink tons and tons of water, more than an average person. I go through water bottle after water bottle. It doesn't seem to help! Also I do go to the gym every morning and do a class. I am pretty healthy when it comes to my nutrition.
I went to go get checked for a UTI but that wasn't the case, and STD's and STI's are out of the question.

Go back to your Dr. And tell him what you're experiencing & have them do a urine culture.

Please go to your doctor as soon as possible.  If your pee is that yellow despite drinking your "8 glasses a day," I'd be concerned about kidney function.

I would ask the doctor to culture your urine for uti and check for bacterial vaginiosis.

I'm jot sure either but look up someone in your are who practices functional medicine. They can test for all kinds of vitamins and minerals and heavy metals and toxins. Maybe diet related or organ related...they'd get to the bottom of it tho
