From what you are explaining, it does sound like an ingrown hair. especially if you shave. I used get them all the time. To be on the safe side i would go get it checked out though to ease your worry. what i have been getting to help with the ingrown hair is a product called, Bump and Blemish (for razor bumps, ingrown hairs, razor burn, and dark spots). I have been using it with my laser surgery and it has helped a lot. You can call 1-800-677 9299. I paid about 9.00 for it. It is a small roll-on bottle that you use right after you shave. I use daily. This is not a gimmick and I am not a spokesperson, just to let you know. I hope this has helped. Good luck. Hope its nothing serious.

Most likely it is a cyst. You get them because you are run down or tired. if you will do a search in the medhelp data you will find out all about them. The best thing to do for it is to put heat on it. You may need to tell you Mom about it because you may need antibiotics. it is nothing to worry about though. They are not from sex or anything like that. it is more like a clogged pore. You may need to go and see the Gynecologist though. Whatever you do, don't Freak out!!! Lot's of women get them.

it could be a vast number fo things.... an ingrown hair, a zit that has not ripened yet, a boil, a nodule a cyst etc... I would do hot compresses on it for a few days to soften the skin and see if it pops on its own but if it is painful I would head to the doctors to be safe.

it sounds like an ingrown hair. U get em down there cuz ther is hair constantly coming in. Theres really nuthin u can do. U CAN wait till it gets a head(which it will) and then pop it or it'll go away on it own. Dont worry Im 28 and I STILL get em.
