Dry skin above clitoris

For about 9 or so months now the skin that covers my clitoris and a little bit above that has been dry, flaky, and itchy. I shave myself clean down there, but only about once or twice every week or two. Everyday I've been applying non-scented lotion to that area of the skin that is dry, but it doesn't seem to help. I haven't had sex, so I don't believe it's chafing or an STD or something. It just won't go away though and I'm not sure what to do.

You might try an antibiotic cream like Neosporin. It's got an oil base so it will keep your skin from drying out and it will kill any bacteria that might be contributing to the problem. You might also avoid shaving that area for a month or so.
