Fevers, Aches N Pains

i have had a low grade fever for a week.  i know i have bruised ribs due to all the coughing i've been doing.  now my thighs hurt.  i can barely get up from a lying to sitting to standing position.  i can barely get up and down the steps. i've also have been getting pounding headaches.  i'm also very very tired.  i'm used to getting by on 5-6 hrs a night and now all i want to do is sleep.  any thoughts on what could be causing this?  thanks

Sounds like a viral infection. I would think you need to see a doctor to get antibotics, and possibly a cough medicine. If your coughing that bad, it can lead to a rib breaking and casuing other problems. I would also suggest getting some blood work to see if your immune system is weaker then normal and the tiredness could be due to low iron or just because your sick.
