HELP MIRENA NOW?

I got my iud put in last friday..........im 18 years of age and never had a child. ive had pretty much every form of bc before, this was the last thing my doctor said i could have. I'm spending most of my time worshiping the porcelain gods, and no matter of pain medication is helping...in fact it seems to make it worse.
As i am typing this, i am actually screaming and crying in pain as i am "cramping" as they say. personally i think i preferred having my pmdd to this pain.....
Every time i "cramp"( i dont think of it as a cramp cuz it hurts way much worse) I get really hot and then throw up. Im not liking this at all. Every moment i still feel like its getting inserted...... i'm really not impressed and just want the pain to stop so i can move on with my daily life......
My friends think i should talk to the doctor or go to the hospital....
FUUUUUUUUUUUU THIS HURTS SO EFFING BAD I WANT TO CASTRATE THE DOCTOR WHO SAID THIS THING WOULDNT HURT! AUGH!!!!
ive taken hot shower, hot baths, ibuprofen, asprin, hot pads, herbal teas..........nothing is helping and it keeps getting worse! augh it just hurts so bad!

he shouldn't have suggested if you haven't had a child. that could be why you're having such serious side affects. i had the mirena for 16 months and never threw up or had anything like that. i had mine taken out and put on ortho tri cyclen and now the mini pill b/c i seem to have a low tolerance for estrogen. my hair was falling out, moody and miserable, gained 45 lbs, horrible acne break outs and migraines with an aura. which...seems to be side affects of the estrogen.

go to the er or make an appointment to have it removed. for the pill (i'm HORRIBLE at remembering) set a timer. when it goes off that's when you know to take it.

In actuality, i was on dep the longest....and the whole time i had it i was on my period. I had it for 11 months....then 3 months this year. the whole time i was on it i was spotting/ bleeding. like a regular period flow.
The pill was okay, but i didnt take care of the cramping from my pmdd, that and im terribly forgetful.
That patch sucked. it kept falling off, and itched and burned so bad.
I never got the ring in because i cant trust it to stay in place.
So my doctor finally suggested mirena, and said it wouldnt hurt and its perfectly safe.....Now im finding out otherwise....

I cant believe your doctor gave it to you. It is the same hormones as deprovera but they normally wont give you mirena unless you have had a baby. Go back to your doctor and get him to check the positioning. I had very mild cramps and only small amount of bleeding after mine was put in. I loved it. It is out now to try for next baby.
