Irregular period and chronic sore breasts

My breasts became sore as usual before I started my expected period on July 23rd. They continued to remain sore and swollen afterwards.I started another full period early on August 11and did not ovulate between. I usually have 36 day or so cycles. My breasts are still sore and swollen today on August 23d. Looking for the cause of the short cycle and lack of ovulation with the chronic sore and swollen breasts for one month. I am 27years old and had a miscarriage 4 months ago at 6 weeks. Not taking any birth control or other medications. I was taking vitamin B complex, a multi vitamin, and omega 3 supplements since the miscarriage, however have stopped those over the past few days out of concern that they may be related to the change in cycle and sore breasts.

I am definitely not pregnant, the test have all come back negative. I had my thyroid checked after the miscarriage and it was fine too. I have never had thyroid issues, but can they begin at any time in your life?

Hi there.  Well, it could be.  You also could have an issue like a slow thyroid which can cause these issues as well or just a hormonal imbalance.  I had periods every 3 to 4 months due to hypothyroidism.  that was a big pain but it evened back out.

If you continue to have this irregularity, especially if trying to conceive, then it would be a good idea to see your gyn.  good luck
