Large swollen painful bump on the outer lips of vagina

Since yesterday I've had a large swollen bump on the labia majora..it's very painful, it hurts to walk or sit.  I've been putting warm cloth on it and it seemed to help with the swelling but it's still really painful.  I don't really want to go to the doctor because I just don't have the money right now, and I feel like it would be a waste if it's something that I can take care of on my own.  Anyone else ever experienced this before? What can I do to ease the pain? All I've done today is lay in bed because it hurts too much to do anything else.

Mine was just an abscess, Hot water does the trick, she said you do need to pop it and get the puss out, i was also given antibiotics to make it go away faster!! and pain killers to make it hurt less! :) hope this helps anyone who is suffering :) xx

Hi girls, i had a big lump on the outside of my vagina, went insane looking things up, tried the hot water trick, it didn't seem to work and got really painful so i made an appointment with my doctor for this morning, Surprise Surprise, it burst this morning in the shower, and it's practically gone! :) It was gross, so i recommend hot water on stand by girls! But you should always get it looked at after because you don't want it getting infected again!!! I'll porst what my doctor said today :)

It sounds like your having an out break of some kind. As with any medication, if you get new symptoms or if your symptoms become worst, you must stop using the product and seek medical attention. You can go to the Emergency room if you have no funds. God bless and good luck.

You should go to the Emergency room, if you don't have any money. Tell them what happened. They will bill you later. Some hospitals even have finacial aid to help with your bill. Just please go somewhere instead o trying to do it yourself. Better safe than sorry. God bless and good luck.
